Western Red Cedar?
Naturally a beautiful wood, Western Red Cedar is a
long-lasting, stable material. It is an excellent choice for
your garden, boundary, or even dog fence. Red Cedar will not
warp or crack like pressure-treated lumber and lasts as
many as five times longer than spruce -- typically 25-30
years without maintenance.
Customers have the option of letting it fade to a
silver grey or preserving its natural beauty with a regular
clear stain. We use #1, #2, and clear lumber -- meaning no
unsightly knotholes -- in our fences. Western Red
Cedar boards and crossmembers, combined with high grade
pressure-treated posts, create a fence that will add
elegance and functionality to your property for many years.
